Peter’s Confession

⁶⁶ For this reason many of his disciples drew back^[a] and were not walking with him any longer. ⁶⁷ So Jesus said to the twelve, “You do not want to go away also, do you?”^{[b] 68} Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.
